Dr Dre album...finally??

Dr. Dre's long awaited album titled, Detox is supposedly coming out this year or early next year. The album has been pushed back for years and years and I am skeptical myself as to whether this album is really going to come out. We'll just have to wait and see, but whenever it does drop, its pretty much guarenteed to be dope as hell.

Eminem dead, rumors not true.

Eminem is not dead, as many bloggers have speculated. There have been many hoaxes about Eminems death since 2000, but this one seems to be the biggest one. To me, it just seems like desperate bloggers searching for page hits. He is alive and well and recording his new album supposedly titled "King Mathers" and it is due in December. Although, there is a history of his albums being pushed back so that is mere speculation at this point. Dr. Dre who has pushed back his album for a million or so years is also releasing his album this year, or early next year followed by a new 50 cent album. It's shaping up to be a monster year for the Shady/Aftermath crew.

Remembering the old school part one... Gang Starr

Anyone remember Gang Starr? MC Guru and the great DJ premier? While people are quick to remember premier as he has produced many many tracks, some of his greatest hits are with Gang Starr and MC Guru like "Momement of Truth" and "B.Y.S". It's sad to see this music isn't really being played any more by the new generation. It also saddens me that hip hop is not what it used to be

Mia Paper Planes a hit!
