Eminem, When WIll Relapse 2 Be Out

Eminem said on his Shade 45 radio station that Relapse 2 will be out soon, probably around the 4th quarter, but artist are notorious for pushing back there albums and changing there minds. So, when can we really expect Relapse 2 to be out? Probably sometime in early 2010, or the middle of 2010, is my guess. For Relapse 2 to be out in the forth quarter of the year is just wishful thinking for both Eminem and his fans. Eminem says the album is basically done and it depends on how many songs he wants to put on it, but artist are often fickle and change their minds continously. So we will see when Replase 2 will be released. As of now there is no release date for Relapse 2 and we will probably not even begin to sniff a release date until the end of the year, maybe even early 2010.

Eminem and Mariah In an All Out War

Eminem and Mariah Carey may have been in a battle over the last decade or so, but now this has turned into an all out war between two of the most best selling artist of all-time! Who knows how far it will go, the limits seem to be never ending as Mariah Carey fired back at Eminem for "Bagpipes from Baghdad" with her single "Obsessed". Eminem reportedly stated "This is war now" after Carey released the single. The beef has lasted for over seven years since rumors persisted that the two were once dating.

Perhaps Eminem never figured Mariah Carey would ever put out a diss track, but she did and maybe he will respond by remixing the track, which would be interesting. An all out war for these two has broken out after a years long battle that started with rumors that the two were dating, which Mariah Carey repeatedly has denied, saying the two never even had a relationship and they hung out just a few times. The Eminem, Mariah Carey beef has grabbed headlines all over the country, as it rightfully should when two of the best selling artist ever go head to head in a knock down drag out battle or war.

However Eminem says that the two had a very intimate relationship lasting almost a year, judging by how Eminem has kept going on and on with this battle, it is hard not to believe him. Eminem pretty much already declared an all out war with "Bagpipes from Baghdad", thats when the battle between the two turned into out war. When Nick Cannon heard the song he practically flipped out and went ballistic all over the tabloids, reinforcing the Mariah Carey, Eminem beef even further. How long this beef could drag out is impossible to tell, it has already being going on for seven or eight years, it could be a life long battle, where the two never come to terms and stop bashing each other all over the press.

In conclusion, the Eminem and Mariah Carey battle has turned into war, the beef will continue to go on, as the world watches two of music industry's greatest heavyweights trade punches for years to come. Like Frazier and Ali, this has all the makings as the greatest celebrity beef to ever shock the worlds of the fans of both singers. Mariah Carey fans versus Eminem fans, girls versus boys.

Jay-Z's Blue Print 3 to Come Out September 2009

Jay-Z's comeback album, The Blue Print 3 will come out in September 2009. The Blue Print 3 following several other hip hop sequels such as Only Built For Cuban Linx 2, and Black Out 2 as well as Relapse 2 from Eminem. 2009 may be remembered as the year of the great Hip Hop sequels. Jay-Z's Blue Print 3 will surely be another classic just like the previous two Blue Prints particularly Blue Print 2 which I enjoyed very much. Jay-Z has been retiring and coming back for years and could be described as Hip-Hop's Michael Jordan. He retired, and came back with Kingdom Come, and then retired again before putting out American Gangster. Now he is back with The Blue Print 3 later in 2009. He is surely one of the greatest rappers ever, and recently rapped with Eminem on stage together.

Black Out 2 Gets 2 Thumbs Up

Redman and Method Man's Black Out 2 gets two thumbs up from me. The album, very much a continuation of Black Out 1, released on May,19,2009. Is definitely the best work either, Redman or Method Man has put out in the last 5 years, perhaps maybe even more. I for one, did not like Method Man's solo album "The Day After Tommorow". Blackout 2, is a great album though and signals the return of two of Hip Hops greatest icons. It debuted at number 7 on the Billboard 200 charts. A great album, so run out and get it, it for sure will be one of the best hip hop albums of 2009!

Eminem's Hotel Room Robbed.

Eminem's Hotel Room at the MTV Movie awards was robbed. A 60K necklace was stolen as well as his personal laptop. One could only wonder what kind of information Eminem's stolen laptop could have held. It sounds like an inside job, who would even know the location of Eminem's hotel room to rob it? Eminem was also robbed of several other items stolen out of his hotel room, although those have not been made public. Eminem has had a rough week, with Bruno putting his butt in Eminem's face, as well as now having his hotel room robbed. Hopefully no song material was on Eminem's robbed laptop, and the necklace had insurance. Wow Em, 60K on a diamond necklace. I never really saw Eminem wearing expensive jewelery like that. Hopefully Eminem will learn his lesson and keep his jewelery at home, so it doesn't get robbed again.

You can read the whole story about Eminem being robbed here.

Eminem's Relapse is Dope

Eminem's new album Relapse is dope, its hot, its the new Marshall Mathers LP. It's what we have all been waiting for, for the past 4 1/2 years. Eminem dropped a seriously ill album in Relapse. So ill, that it will probably land him in jail. Seriously this is Eminem's darkest album ever. In 2009 Eminem came back hard with Relapse, and with Relapse two ready to drop later in 2009, fans have to be excited. Every song on Eminem's Relapse is good. And for sure this will be the top album of 2009, it's already sold more records then anybody else in 2009. So, if you don't got Eminem's Relapse album go out and get it, and get Relapse two when it drops later this year because Relapse is seriously dope! Eminem, your the greatest MC ever! We've all been waiting for this for so long! Thank you Eminem! Relapse is everything I expected it to be and more!

Can we get back to the 90's and 80's Hip Hop?

Seriously Hip Hop over the last few years has decreased in quality so much, that it's been hard to listen to the radio the past five or so years. Does anyone out there feel me? I mean even when somebody does put out a good album these days, it becomes so commercialized and "I got money" that the original message the rapper is tarnished. Even the beats sound like garbage these days. I honestly give new rap a listen to see if it's any good, with an open mind, because I love hip hop but this is getting ridiculous.

Like in my previous post hopefully 2009 will be a great year for hip hop, but could it be the LAST year for hip hop? Is hip hop dead? I mean this debate has been going on for a while no, I say no. But at this rate, it's definitely on it's way to dying. The whole "Hip hop is dead" talk started in the early 2000's which were a bad time for hip hop, but there were gems that came out and the scene got revived. Now it's looking even grimmer, what do you all think? What do you all listen to these days?

50 Cent and Rick Ross have some serious beef!

Serious beef between 50 cent and Rick Ross has started! There has already been several diss tracks exchanged. 50 cent has came out with a track called "Officer Ricky", a jab at Rosses former law enforcement ties. 50 cent has also been taking shots at Lil Wayne as well. 50 cent today said he vowed to destroy Rick Ross in an interview. While beef is sometimes good for the industry, it can get ugly. Remember Biggie and Tupac anyone?
Below is a Rick Ross interview explaining exactly why he has beef with 50 Cent.

Have Gun, Will Travel Remake Starring Eminem Slated for 2010

Here's yet another Shady project that keeps getting pushed back. Eminem is slated to star in an upcoming film called "Have Gun, Will Travel" based on a T.V series from the late 50's.

The series was an old western based on a character called Paladin, which Eminem will be playing. Is this a chance for Eminem to start an acting career after he retires from rap? We'll see.

It won't be a western though, that's for sure. It's going to be a modern remake, which should be very interesting.

The movie is slated for release in 2010, after being pushed back from a 2008 release. It seems like lately, the only new news on any of Slim Shady's projects is that they keep getting pushed back :SIGH:.

Another Rap Movie Coming Out

Another Rap Movie, this time starring Run-DMC will come out. Does anyone know of a release date for this movie? It seems like yet another attempt to profit on or, from a more optimistic point of view, extend Jam Master Jays Career.

More information on the Run-DMC rap movie can be found at this web site.

Biggie movie Notorious getting bad reviews.

Biggies "new movie" Notorious has been getting bad reviews. People are upset that the people they picked to play Puff Daddy,Biggie and Tupac don't even look like the characters. My friend told me the movie "sucks". I have yet to see it and probably won't. It is amazing how people are so greedy to keep making money of Tupac and Biggies legacy. This has been going on for years, as many loyal Tupac and Biggie fans though.

Although since I haven't seen the movie, I can't really say anything too terrible about it. Is there anyone out there who thinks this is a good movie, or has any opinions to offer up on it? Comment back.

Meanwhile you can read a more positive review of the movie "Notorious" here.

New polls up more to come

I added some new polls on the right. The two polls I'm adding for now are, who are your favorite rapper and what was your favorite album. The choices are a bit limited but there will be many more. If you have a good idea for a poll, let me know and I'll take it into consideration and maybe I will put it up here. Until then, happy voting!

The Lil Wayne Argument.

I really don't like Lil Wayne, I don't even think he can even be considered a rapper. Maybe a "singer"/comic, but not a rapper. Tupac was a rapper, Biggie was a rapper, Wu Tang Clan were rappers. But this Lil Wayne guy and these down south rap groups should be put into a genre of there own. I don't care what they call it, just don't call it rap. Lil Wayne just sucks.
